Rhyme and Reason

there is no rhyme or reason
to anything we ever do, for that is because
our concept of purpose and worth is man-made
as is everything else
we do as we please, we please who we do
not like
only ourselves, only us
can make us feel proud
can make us feel time
can make us make sense
of what we do here
rhyming and reasoning is all that we make
is all that we believe
is all that we believe
let us continue to be the creators of our
own world
we made it after all...
