The European Experience 2013: London, England
July 31, 2013
Hello! Hallo! Bonjourno! Bonjour! Hola!
Le'ts just get started. So.. on July 4th, 2013, my mum, brother, grandma and I departed off to Europe for a month! We went on a European tour with the travel company, Trafalgar - it was called the European Heritage Tour. It was the trip of a lifetime and I was more than ecstatic but extremely overwhelmed! To make this short and simple (if that's possible) I'll jump right into the first destination: London, England.

Day 1 & 2: London, England
[July 5-6]
Arriving in London was pretty cool. I've always heard about London's airport, Heathrow and being there was as cool as being in London itself! Before I go into details, London was our "free time", meaning it was before the actual tour began with the coach bus and the rest of the people on the trip. We stayed in London for 2 nights! When we first got there, we stayed in an area where a bus picked us up to drop us to our hotel. The ride there was pretty dodgy, since driving in London, or anywhere in Europe for that matter, is totally and completely crazy and reckless. Our hotel was called the Hilton Olympia and it was located in the outskirts of central London, but was walking distance in terms of the parks and nice shops. Speaking of parks, we first visited a park in London (forgot what it was called) and it was massive! We headed back to our hotel, where we inquired in a sightseeing tour for the rest of the day. We went on a couple sightseeing tour buses - the first one we saw the parliament building, the London eye, Big Ben and many other beautiful places! It was amazing to actually see it in person.. I was freaking out!
