The Rest Is Still Unwritten..
April 19, 2010
You know how there's a saying, that all good things come to an end? Well, what if I said that's not 100 % true. Because it isn't. If you think about it, when something ends, a new beginning opens. It's the cycle of life. Just like you live and then you die - as harsh as it sounds, it's reality. Before I get carried away, all I wanted to say is that life is like a book. When one chapter ends, another opens and continues to something new, if not better. It's days like today, where I might think my life is over, but I learn to not take things so seriously and just go with it. It's harder said then done, but if saying it seems easy, why can't doing it seem easy. Obviously, it's a personal opinion, and that just goes to show that everyone deals with something differently. I've learned a lot of lessons in my life, and one that stands out for me is to not hold a grudge. It's like a spider you cannot get off your chest, and as much as your fighting to pretend it's not bothering you, it still does. Grudges to me are a waste of time, it means that something in your life bothers you and you feel insecure about it, and you end up forgiving and forgetting. I've been through something similar, and I deny the fact that I want to forget, but I think to myself and wonder why should I do that. Life is too short for hatred and violence, back then everything used to be about peace, love and .. not cupcakes but friendship. Friendships that have issues, but still last. So this book I am referring to, has only been signed out for a year, and it's been through a lot and it looks like a wreck, yet that book is still in good condition because someone else realizes that it's meaningful towards them. And when that book is finally open, we turn to a fresh page - a page that starts a new beginning in someones life. So when something good ends, it doesn't have to be negative, we just got to look on the bright side.. and there's always a bright side, no matter what.
