Rest In Paradise
February 21, 2010It's hard to let go of someone, especially since you never really knew them. Christopher Rodrigues is a 12 grader, who died on friday. I didn't find out until around 9 today, because of all the 'rip' in the facebook status'. I had to know what happened as soon as possible, because I was scared. Then I found out, and I was heart broken. I barely know him, but I know that he had a huge impact on the students in D'y. It's like a family, where we all give our condolence and grieve, because he was a friend to all of us. Even if I never talked to him, I know of him and although he wasn't a friend to me, he was friends to many others. I'm shocked and sad to know that a student from d'youville has passed away, and it effects everyone. He was actually suppost to be in my religion class, but he never showed up.. and I kept thinking, who is this guy? Is he the guy who I think it is, and I was right. But now that he's not here anymore, it changes everything. The teachers and principle are going to be shocked and sad to know that a student has passed away. I'm pretty sure we're going to have an assembly or mass to give our condolence for him, I hope we do. We need to get together and pray for his family and hope that he's in a better place now. I'm really hurt and shocked about this, but I know we're all in this together and pray for his family. RIP Chris, you're in a good place now.
